I purchased 4 of these sconces for the bedroom. My tables and bed are modern (think 50s) retro but all in white oak. These sconces rock! The light they emit casting a pattern in each corner of the room make it feel like warm old school 20s Hollywood theater. They weigh nothing, so mounting the sconces only requires a tiny little nail (no studs or heavy screws needed).
